Our History

Since our foundation in 1999, The Trust Company of Vermont maintains the following goals:  client autonomy, building stable long-term relationships, and a commitment to remaining rooted in our community.

The Trust Company of Vermont was founded as an employee-owned company.

Our employees are committed to a culture of service in our community. In larger cities, asset management is a product. At the Trust Company of Vermont, we look beyond rates of return. We value employee-client, team-based, holistic asset management focused on financial security and family goals.

While many of our staff came to Vermont from other places, the entirety of our staff shares a strong sense of place. We are honored to serve our clients as an employee-owned company rooted amongst our individual and community neighbors.
